Shere win Go-Ahead Tender
Shere are delighted to announce their successful bid for the tender to supply ITSO enabled automated ticket vending machines to Southern, part of the Go-Ahead Group which includes the London Midland and South Eastern train operating companies. Shere are now Go-Ahead's preferred supplier of TVMs.
Already a major supplier to other TOCs including Virgin Trains, First Connect, Chiltern Railways and the Docklands Light Railway, Shere currently processes in excess of £1.5 billion worth of ticket transactions annually.
The success of this tender, initially worth £3 million over the next three years, means that Shere is now the leading supplier of automated ticket vending machines to the railway industry in the UK.
