Police assault on Shere machines
Self-ticketing security is an issue costing our industry many million pounds in the last 12 months alone. It’s an issue that Shere has been working hard to remedy and today Shere is pleased to announce that its latest generation of machines sets new bench-marks for security performance.
Working with experts and feedback provided by Shere’s customers, Shere has created a machine able to resist a sustained assault for over 30 minutes. Shere asked the British Transport Police to test the machine on its behalf and their team of five using a range of heavy duty hand tools failed to reach the cash. A short movie of the attack is available on request.
